The headstall is constructed from double braided polyester yachting rope in 6mm diameter rope. Only the highest quality yachting rope is selected to make the headstall and strict manufacturing guidelines are adhered to by our craftsmen. All headstalls are designed with a loop below the jaw for easy attachment of a lead rope or reins of your choice. Creating this loop is the all-important fiador knot which is mechanically tightened on all genuine Nungar Knots headstalls. This tightening process greatly reduces the risk of the fiador knot becoming loose. Rope headstalls are lightweight but very strong. Nungar Knots' unique placement of the nose knots and the softness of the rope allows excellent communication between the trainer and the horse.
