Cowboy Dressage Partnership on The Ground is a fantastic training ground and precursor to the ridden horse's career in the Cowboy Dressage Arena. We have all ages and sizes of horses/ponies competing in the event.

Groundwork is the start for all horses and riders. Ground maneuvers, as in riding maneuvers, are based on straight lines and circles, to help create a lasting partnership. Partnership On The Ground tests is authored to promote this partnership. As in all Cowboy Dressage tests, SOFT FEEL is the mission. It gives us harmony, balance, precision, relaxation, which should be the end result of our endeavours.

 

Cowboy Dressage also has a  Liberty Division: Learn how to take your relationship with your horse to the next level and have your horse stay with you at a walk and jog, do haunch turns, and nice square stops. In Walk Jog Test 1 we work on stopping square, turns on the haunches, transitions of walk and jog. 

In this Clinic, you will learn how to do teach and perform the required manoeuvers for the Partnership On the Ground tests.

$110 Includes Morning Tea (Please note the ticket price is one horse/rider combo)

$44 per day for fence-sitters includes Morning Tea (family members not classed as fence-sitters if they are there to assist riders).

Powered/Non Powered Campsites available $25/$20 per night, stables/yards free (yards must be cleaned on departure or cleaning fee will be incurred)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

$50 Deposit required at time of booking to secure your riding position.  PLEASE NOTE: Deposit is non-refundable. Balance of clinic fees is non-refundable after the R.S.V.P date of 3 weeks before the clinic. If you, however, find a replacement for your clinic position, the balance of the clinic fees will be refunded. (Please note you are responsible for finding the replacement, not Equine Connection)

Horse Health Declarations are required for each horse attending the clinic; these are not due until the day of the Clinic. If you have a Horse Movement App, you can email a copy of your movement replacing the online form.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY- Would you like to attend and help? We are always on the lookout for people to give us a hand over the course of the weekend. Great opportunity to watch, observe and learn, earning volunteer bucks For every 4 hours worked – $20 credit.
