Horsemanship and Introduction to Liberty: Nebo Undercover Arena
Are you ready to improve your communication with your horse? Would you like to take your relationship up a notch and learn how to motivate your horse to WANT to work with you? Perhaps you are looking for ideas for enhancing your time together. I’m passionate about connecting people to horses and creating partnerships with their horses.
I have personally found that taking ropes of my horses and having them free enhances my Horsemanship to a whole new level, testing where I am now with my horse.
In this clinic, you will learn how to communicate in harmony with your horse on the ground, learning to read your horse’s body language, and how to respond accordingly. Participants will also learn to use pressure levels to be clearer with their horse and release when their horse gives a truthful try. The first day begins with assessing where you are with your horse now and establishing the foundations needed for liberty. The second day begins with halters on and ends in the afternoon with halters off.
We will include reward-based training into your riding with some basic exercises for saddle broke horses.
The clinic is suitable for any age handler or horse (Children are welcome to attend, providing an adult will assist them) a great foundation of exercises for the young unbroken horse or the older educated ridden horse—two groups of 8 people maximum in each group—one horse and combo per clinic ticket.
