INTRODUCTION TO COWBOY DRESSAGE ONE-DAY CLINIC

Ride with us in the  Cowboy Dressage Court in the great facility of the Mackay Showgrounds Undercover arena.

Have you wondered what Cowboy Dressage is all about?

Have you been wanting to give it a go but did not know where to start?

Well, this clinic is tailored just for you.

WHAT WE WILL COVER:

• History of Cowboy Dressage
• What is Partnership on the Ground, Challenge Court and Open Court
• Gaits of the Cowboy Dressage Horse
• Equipment and Attire
• Ride manoeuvers in the court putting it all together into a test.

The clinic will be capped at 8 riders plus one helper to maximize the learning opportunity

Lunch, Morning Tea. Tea, Coffee, camping, and a stable fee are all included in the ticket price.

QUESTIONS:

• Who can attend? Any age level of rider, children are welcome to attend.
• Does my horse need to be a specific breed? No, any breed can  ride Cowboy Dressage
• Do I need a Western Saddle? No, you can ride in your regular tack.
• Do I need to be an experienced rider to attend? No all levels are welcome.

In Cowboy Dressage® we like to take our time to train our horses and ourselves. Perfection is the aim, but Soft Feel is the goal. To check how your progress is going, we have designed tests.

The equestrian pursuit known as Cowboy Dressage melds the best of Western riding traditions and classical dressage in the pursuit of a harmonious relationship with a horse.

Being in harmony with your horse, whether navigating through a Cowboy Dressage test, riding comfortably at home, or competing in your individual disciplines, has at its core the same riding foundation.

Dressage, Western Dressage and Cowboy Dressage

$220  The ticket price is for one horse/rider combo to participate in a one-day clinic.

All-inclusive: Morning Tea, Tea, coffee, Lunch, Stable, and Camping fees

$44 per day for fence-sitters includes lunch

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A $100 Deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your riding position.

QUESTIONS:

Can I have my deposit refunded: Yes if you sell your deposit ticket to another rider.

How much deposit will be refunded: The deposit is less credit card fees and the Wix booking fees.

When is the balance of the Clinic fee due: Three weeks before the clinic date.  If you fail to pay the balance by the due date your position will be re-advertised and the deposit will be non-refundable.

I have paid my full clinic fee and I am within the 3-week dates prior to the clinic,  I can no longer attend, Is my clinic fee refundable: Yes If you find a replacement for your clinic position, the balance of the clinic fees will be refunded along with the deposit less credit card fees and the Wix booking fees. (Please note you are responsible for finding the reserve rider, not Mandy Probyn Equine Connection)

Under extreme circumstances Fees can be credited towards the next available clinic, please note this is at the discretion of Mandy Probyn, Vet and Doctor certificates may be asked to be produced.

Horse Health Declarations are required for each horse attending the clinic; these are not due until the day of the Clinic. If you have a Horse Movement App, you can email a copy of your movement. We have a book to record Horse Health Declarations this is made available for your to fill in at the clinic, please familiarise yourself with the required details. eg. your pic number, horse microchip number, vaccination record, etc.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS- Would you like to attend the clinic for free?  We have one position available at each clinic for a volunteer to give us a hand over the course of the weekend.  Your duties will include, mucking out stalls, and the arena, helping with morning tea lunches, packing up, and general hands-on help. You will be able to participate in the clinic between volunteer duties. Lunch included camping and stabling fee not included. For more details email us.
