Ladies Riding with Confidence Clinic: Mackay Undercover Arena

I invite you to come and watch demonstrations, receive one on one tuition and participate in hands-on practice. 

Learn how you can start your journey to enjoying your relationship with your horse. You can ride in cooperation with your horse without tension and fear in your body, you will ride confidently.

Day one: Everyone begins together with groundwork exercises: Flexion: giving a soft feel on the rope laterally Backing moving our horses out of our personal space with driving pressure then steady hand pressure Stepping our horses' shoulders and hindquarters over with driving pressure and then steady hand pressure Asking our horses to circle us with a soft feel on the rope at all 3 gaits. Leading our horses forward with a soft feel on the rope. Float Loading Problems

Day two: Revision of Foundation Exercises: Control of horses' body parts under saddle. Mandy's ridden goals for you and your horse: Flex his head and neck left, right and vertically from rein pressure. "Stop Now" exercise learn how to safely shut your horse down before things get out of control. Move the horse's hindquarters and shoulders in response to rein and leg pressure. Fun-ridden exercises to develop confidence and secure a seat in the saddle. To Stop and Back up.

$440  The ticket price is for one horse/rider combo to participate in a two-day clinic.

All-inclusive: Morning Tea, Tea, Coffee, Lunch, Stable, and Camping fees

$44 per day for fence-sitters includes lunch and morning tea (Please pre-book)

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A $100 Deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your riding position.

Only 8 riding positions are available.

QUESTIONS:

Can I have my deposit refunded: Yes if you sell your deposit ticket to another rider.

How much deposit will be refunded: The deposit is less credit card fees and the Wix booking fees.

When is the balance of the Clinic fee due: Three weeks before the clinic date.  If you fail to pay the balance by the due date your position will be re-advertised and the deposit will be non-refundable.

I have paid my full clinic fee and I am within the 3-week dates prior to the clinic,  I can no longer attend, Is my clinic fee refundable: Yes If you find a replacement for your clinic position, the balance of the clinic fees will be refunded along with the deposit less credit card fees and the Wix booking fees. (Please note you are responsible for finding the reserve rider, not Mandy Probyn Equine Connection)

Under extreme circumstances Fees can be credited towards the next available clinic, please note this is at the discretion of Mandy Probyn, Vet and Doctor certificates may be asked to be produced.

Horse Health Declarations are required for each horse attending the clinic; these are not due until the day of the Clinic. If you have a Horse Movement App, you can email a copy of your movement. We have a book to record Horse Health Declaration this is made available for your to fill in at the clinic, please familiarise yourself with the required details. eg. your pic number, horse microchip number, vaccination record, etc.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS: Would you like to attend the clinic for free?  We have one position available at each clinic for a volunteer to give us a hand over the course of the weekend.  Your duties will include, hanging up banners, mucking out stalls, and the arena, helping with morning tea lunches, packing up, and general hands-on help. You will be able to participate in the clinic between volunteer duties. Lunch included camping and stabling fee not included. For more details email us.
